Where's that US State?

So, what's your time?

(PS. 3:42 the second time. But it's really not nice to gloat when you beat your nine-year old son, is it?)

And honestly.. ALL dumb luck! I'm pretty sure i was sick the day they taught about the states!

I did a lot of guessing.. and was right most of time!

I TOTALLY get lost on the midwent and those little eastern states!

Though anyone who takes it should know that you have to click low on Texas, otherwise it's going to tell you over and over again that it's Oklahoma. I probably lost 10 seconds to that trick!

Ha!!! 2:55!!! Yeah me!

ok I'm going to stick up for Kellan here...didnt you tell me once that when you worked at the Dr's office that you had a copy of the United States map on your bulletin board so that you could memorize them?

my score was 5:21. I obviously need to go back to geography. (I too have a map because I always remembered you saying that and I thought what a great idea, but I dont think I have ever actually LOOKED at it! Lot of good it does huh?)

It doesn't hurt that we have a fifth grade states test here and I've practiced with all three children.

The only state I missed was Oklahoma...HA!

3:28 - And I always thought I was terrible at geography!

3:18 with no mistakes...I'm slow.
I love geography, and it is something that isn't taught much according to the children I used to mentor.
One thought New England was a country
One thought Orlando was a state
and here's the kicker.....
One thought Disneyland was the capitol of California.

You're not going to believe this but my first try was 4:28, too. Harder than I thought.

3:08 Thanks for the link. My 5 year old kindergartener is totally into geography. I hope he doesn't beat me at this one!

That darn game cost me 5:36 of my precious time. Boy is it hard. I kept getting frustrated when it would say, "no, that's Wisconsin..., no that Vermont, no, that's whatever state". Boohoo. I suck.

Neat from the other perspective of not being given the names... I managed to get 44/50... but I'm also from Canada and never taken any kind of US geography so I think thats not too shabby

3:44 first try and shocking how many I missed the first time. I need to go back to school.

3:18 first time. Um. But I travel for work, and I obsessively played a game like this once when I made a dumb ass comment about geography at work. I felt so stupid I played until I knew it all.

ummmm - 5:06. I think I need to go study a little more.

Damn, if there weren't all those pesky Eastern states I would have been great! Who really knows where Rhode Island is? (though I *did* know it was a little one:)

4:42....and I'm Canadian!

3:13. I live on the east coast, grew up in the midwest. It helps decode all those square ones.

Dto3 said...

3:57. Wow - you don't realize how difficult all the northeastern states are when the clock is ticking against you. Plus, my mouse kept clicking on the wrong state (that's my story and I'm sticking to it).
