And the winner is ...

So in the end, the picture frames won. I’ll admit, it was a close race between that and the pillowcases. Actually, I would have loved to have done the party CD’s, but didn’t have enough time to go to the store, buy the blank cd’s and then burn all ten copies (why yes, today is when I realized the blank cd’s I had in Georgia are no-where to be found here in Oklahoma ….. ) Ultimately, what tipped the scales in favor of the frames was the knowledge that any artsy-crafty embellishments that the girls didn’t use, I could claim for my own scrapbooking and card-making.

And perhaps you’ll notice that it’s almost 11pm and I’m updating my blog, while the girls are upstairs, high on life ice cream and soda, and they are completely unsupervised. Now *that’s* how you chaperone a party! PS. Jani, if you're reading this, I'm completely kidding. Your daughter is fine and I've been with them the entire ti----- oh crap, what was that loud thud from above? I'd better go see.

Glad you all had fun.

Those are the same frames I bought...with the picture of the kid with his duck in the middle.

I had our girls use gems, flowers and buttons, all in shades of pink and purple....and all stuff that I would use myself for my daughters' scrapbook pages...I even made a frame for myself :)

I loved the pillow case idea too, think I will use that one in the future.

Those are very cute. I didn't comment on the last one, but for my daughter's 7th birthday sleepover, we did pillowcases. I bought some iron-on stuff and I designed something on the computer. It said Bailey's 7th birthday party with a picture in the middle of some flowers. I gave them the cases and some fabric markers. They all signed each other's case and decorated. The parents still tell me how much the girls love them and use them. Bailey still loves hers as well.

I love the picture frames, they look great. My son Luke went to a birthday party today for his friend that was turning 8. They had a bounce house in the front yard that was awesome!! It had a basketball goal in it and a slide. All the kids decorated a t-shirt to take home. They had a goodie bag with just candy. The best part was I didn't have to stay!!! The kids had a great time.
Happy Birthday Brayden.

Happy Belated Birthday, Brayden!!! I have a really good excuse....got stranded in another city (hockey tournament) when the four wheel drive on our truck broke..and no puter! So it looks like you had a fab-u-lous time and I love, love, love the frames! Your Mom really rocks, I hope you realize that :-)

Hugs,
Tracey
