Quality Family Time -- Educational, Too!

Kendrie found it.

Kellen did not.

And me, being the stellar parent role model that I am, showed them how they could add the "-y" to the end and make it a whole 'nother word.

It took me a minute. I first saw "stitch" and was thinking "Stitchy's not a word" but then, ohhhhhhhhhh.

Funny!

Ha! Being one, I found it instantaneously :)

Reminds me of the time my then 2 year old was coloring on the driveway with chalk. He wrote out the word (purely by chance, of course): B A S T O R D.

Cracked me the heck up. Yes, I have a photo :)

Of course Kendrie knows that word; all of the time volunteering at the dog shelter has probably taught her lots of scientific animal terms. :)

Awwww Jadine I'm sure you're not GEEK-Y

That was the word you were talking about wasn't it? ;P

I didn't get a pic with this the first time, and scrolled down to the last few notes to see what the heck you were talking about. When I saw "geeky" mentioned, I went back. Voila...the picture. Me thinks the word was NOT geeky. Living with 5 tween/teen daughters, it sure jumped out at me in half a second!

you're talking about "bets" and "betsy" right? ;0) awesome!!

Ohhh, brings back memories of the boss showing up one Saturday and all of us were sitting on the counter playing Boggle! At the rec center where we made less than minimum wage...none of us were fired...thank goodness...we were all poor college students!

Go Kendrie! Boys just don't get it!

Hahaha that's great - I love boggle! Maybe I just have a dirty mind, but did anyone else notice the word "tit" intertwined? If you're a loser like me and count three letter words that is! If it was anybody but you I'd never believe it actually landed like that! And kudos for adding the y - best boggle strategy out there! Have a great weekend!

hey diana, your three letter word is actually a four letter word if you add the "s"...go for the points girl!

well, feel better about yourself...I purposely showed my two the picture to see if they could find the word. They both did, in under 3 seconds, each. *sniff* their father will be so proud...

Found it right away. What does that say about me.

That was the first thing I noticed when the picture came up. Wonder what that says about me. Hmmmm.

Took me a while.....does that mean that I'm an extremely nice, not to mention amiable, person??? I think the bad driver I gestured to this morning on the way to work would disagree......

Sadly, I too found it in under 3 seconds. Along with keg and tit. Sigh.

Took about three seconds for that word to pop out at me.

And about three seconds after that my five year old walked up behind me and said "what the hell?"

So, you're not doing so bad...

Actually, I meant "B-E-S-T", but thanks for saying I'm not GEEK-Y :)

I am glad there are other parents like me out there. Once, I was working in my daughter's kinder class and a girl named Cassandra explained to us all how she has a bad word in her name. I tried so hard not to laugh. Failed miserably. She's still one of my favorite kids in the world.

LOL...If it's any consolation, my daughter (9) had a lesson today to be nice to people because they may be in charge of you another day. It was some story they read. Me, being the other stellar parent, told her, "Yeah, there's a whole saying that goes with that!" Then realized I wasn't sure I was ready to share it...

I immediately saw tit, then had to look again when you mentioned adding the y.
