You should have just let Kendrie claim the drawings as her own - they look quite age appropriate! =)
(Or was she too embarrassed to do so?)

Did you draw the wolf or shark?

Have I told you lately how much I just love you to pieces? Another drawing-challenged person just like me! You want a tree? Two straight lines with a squiggly half-circle on top--and call it all good! Our strengths must run more to the intellectual versus the artistic. Yeah, that's it. Um-hmm. Right.

You still ROCK!

hahahaha! At least you weren't forced to participate in the three-week long first grade (did I mention FIRST GRADE????) project on Australia where we (uh, my DAUGHTER) had to do a four-part written report AND a 3-D art project on ....the EMU!!! And they say Florida schools aren't ranked well in the USA....

OK, so what I don't get is why you even wrote a note to the teacher in the first place. (let that one sink in...)
And hey, it's a BIG shout out to Julianna Banana, who went a year off-treatment on Good Friday!!!! Wooo hoooo.. (and you'll be updating Kendrie's site soon.. right? Cause I have a couple of folks that I've sent that way, including a family from my son's school... :<) ) Keep rockin' on..
