Sadder ...

Not sure which is sadder ...

That I've had "update blog" on my to-do list since last Thursday and haven't done it ...

Or the fact I haven't done it because I can't think of a darn thing to write about.

I went grocery shopping today.

I was late for book club tonight.

Kellen lost one of his brand-new football gloves the first night he wore them.

We are shopping for school supplies tomorrow.

See? See what an exciting life I lead??

Try not to be too jealous.

Kristie,

Even your non-updates are great just because they're so "non update-ish!" And therefore, they turn out to be funny in a nonfunny sort of way.

Or something like that. :-)

At any rate, I feel your pain in trying to find interesting stuff to write about on a regular basis.
You do an amazing job with it though, and I'm never sorry I stopped by your blog.

Even today!

Boring isn't always bad.

Get yourself a wiener dog. Then you can write about how when he farts, he whips around and growls at his butt!

Now that's exciting!!

I think it is difficult to maintain a blog on a regular basis. Even when you are doing just "plain ol' stuff" that is ok. I suppose us readers read for all the humor and the "plain ol' stuff" moments.
I enjoy it reading your blog anyway - regular life and all!

Kristie,
In your life "mundane" is good. Glad to know that not every day is chock full of crisis or excitement and that most days your life is like the rest of ours.

Mowed the lawn.

Vacuumed the house.

Walked to the grocery store.

Cooked dinner.

Fell asleep in front of the TV.

We could be twins!

Well, seeing as I have 4 of my 5 kids going to school this year...school supply shopping is extremely exciting for me....For the kids not so much :-) Although not sure what I'm going to do with only one little one home through the week...

I'll trade you going to the store for dealing with financial aid. It has NOT been a pretty week here. I'd take boring.

If it makes you feel any better, my life at the moment (right this moment) is me typing while one kid plays the harmonica (?!) and the other honks on the tuba that his music teacher loaned him for the summer. He went from flute to tuba. Tuba and harmonica. No, really. Picture it. Tuba and harmonica. Simultaneously. Gaaaaaaaaaaaah.
