The awesomeness just keeps coming

Since I've already, quite humbly and modestly, if I say so myself, shared with you my total awesomeness in athletic ability, I thought I would go ahead, even though I don't like bragging, even though it's really not my style to toot my own horn, even though I'm actually quite a shy and modest person ......... and show you my awesomeness in photography, as well.

These are all pictures I took this weekend at the lake. In all their un-edited, un-tweaked, un-photoshopped glory.

Try not to be jealous of my mad skillz and talent.

Would you like me to take pictures at your baby's christening, perhaps? Or maybe a graduation or wedding? Because truly, my awesomeness knows no bounds.

ok in all fairness I actually think the one of the kids in the tube where the water is all splashy in front of them is kinda cool!

I was going to say the same thing!! Sure you cut off some heads here and there but some have AWESOME clarity and the splash ones are very cool!!!! And yes, I am VERY jealous of your MAD SKILLZ as a photog and athlete!!!!!

You don't have to prove your awesomeness to us (your readers) ... we already hang out here for a reason. lol On the other hand, methinks you perhaps ought to be gentler with yourself, and learn to see the same awesomeness in you that the rest of us do.

I'm just sayin' ... :)

I think that if you took the ones of the boys on their boards & cropped them down to the legs & splashing water, you would have some excellent photos. Throw'em in a frame & Voila! Newness :o) Now the blurry ones there's probably no hope for *wink*

Long time reader first time de-lurker - I am surprised if your photo teachers didn't tell you that usually out of 100 or so pictures, you only get 10 real keepers, that's the beauty of digital SLRs, just put the multi shot mode on and keep on shooting. Delete the ones you don't want to keep and focus on the ones that you do like, not the ones you don't. I have a photoblog that has maybe 50 pictures on it, believe me, it probably took 1000 shots to get those 50 that I am really proud of. Keep shooting, you may not be able to give yourself an objective opinion, but trust me, you are getting better and better. Keep at it!

I think pics 8 and 10 are really cool. How many pictures did you take to just have that many bad ones? 100, 200, I know you are a photo/scrappin junkie, you ain't foolin me!

I'm impressed! I thought my mother was the only one who possessed such talent!

She was the official photographer of my childhood and I look on with fondness at the pictures that remain of my arm (left or right), my body from the neck down, my feet and especially those ones where I was invisible.

All kidding aside I've seen your best work, so I have to ask was any alcohol involved in the taking of these shots? ;)

I am so happy to see that ALL of your photographs are not wonderful! I was feeling a bit intimidated, actually a lot intimidated. Thanks for sharing these :-)
