At least not in **OUR** real life

Kendrie: “You know how in that movie, The Three Ninjas, the boys are brothers and ninjas at the same time?”

Kristie: “Yes”

Kendrie: “What I noticed is that even though they are brothers, and they fight a lot, and argue about the best way to do things, and get on each other’s nerves, they always make up and like each other again. They always talk about things and decide what to do together and agree on how to solve their problems and stay friends.”

Kristie: “Right”

Kendrie: “I don’t think that happens in real life.”

I don't think it happens in real-life, either.

I think Kendrie is right; her stories are so funny - they go in a different direction from what you expect.
This reminds me of Harlequin romance novels...always a happy ending!

Yep, Kendrie's right, often times that doesn't happen until siblings are all grown up!

Yeah, who knew when I was young and fighting with all my sisters that we would grow up and be so close?!

Yesterday was Will's piano recital-he aced it! I agree-my kids will never stop taking piano lessons! And his teacher-wonderful, wonderful teacher- is moving June 1st. Hopefully the next teacher will be as fabulous.

Sorry this has nothing to do with today's post.

Although I have to agree with Kendrie!

Hello Kristie,

Kendrie is so sweet, (she probably wouldn't like being called that!!) It's interesting to see that she thinks things out like that and she would probably be really happy if it was like that in real life, poor kid!! Hopefully when the three of them are a bit older they will become the best of friends. I bet they leap to each other's defense though if anybody gets at one of them don't they?
Take care,
Love Angela

Kendrie is too smart. My oldest daughter moved home from college for one year before she got married. She and her younger brothers bonded so much during that time. One of my favorite pictures right after the wedding was her hugging her brother that is 2 years younger and he was crying. Sunglasses on the beach - but you could tell!
