And then, because Blogger doesn't actually *number* the comments in the sidebar, I went through and counted .... three times .... because I
Congrats DeborahB!

"Hmmm...what am I raging about this summer? Daughters with attitudes, bills and money (or lack thereof), probable layoffs at work, moving and leaving all my friends/work/church/family behind. Yeah, that's enough. I was planning on buying this book anyway, so it's ok if I don't win. I love Danny! His blog is one of the funniest out there, next to yours of course!"
Deb is actually a friend of mine (pinkie promise, the random generator was totally random!!) and fellow-surrogate. (Hmmmm. Hope she doesn't mind me putting that out there for the world to know....) She's also the lucky winner of the Dad Gone Mad author Danny Evan's debut memoir, "Rage Against the Meshuganuh".
Ironically, Deb works as some kind of editor/proofreader/copywriter person (I said we were friends, ok? Not identical twins and I know every single microscopic detail about her life!) so probably she would have been a smarter person to give the initial book review than me. But I'm certain she won't enjoy it any more than I did because That's. Just. Not. Possible.
Congrats, Deb!

Congrats, Deb!! I can't wait for this book to come out!! I"m sure it will be an awesome read from beginning to end.
Ohhh I can't wait to read his book!!
Congrats Deb!
OMG! Wow!! I won!!! (enough exclamation marks??) Yay! Too cool. I really was going to buy this book. Thank you thank you thank you!
But I have to disagree with you on the "me reviewing the book instead of you" point. You are, hands down, one of the funniest, most articulate and interesting bloggers out there. I loved the "questions" you gave Danny to answer, his answers were almost as funny as your questions. I'm a proofreader, not a writer. I just know when it's spelled wrong, I am a terrible writer.
Ummm, yeah, I'm pretty sure everyone knows I'm a surrogate by now, don't you? So I don't think you're outing me. I think being a surrogate is the coolest thing ever, and am very proud of it. I've met some awesome women (you in particular!!) through it and have had 3 great journeys, so it's all good.
What a great start to the week to find out I won something! I've tried to win one of those #$@!* Kitchen-Aid mixers from PW forEVER, with no luck. Maybe this will turn that bad streak around.
Thanks again Kristie! You're the best and I look forward very much to the book.
