We are Classy

I'm not sure which of these things shows the true measure of the caliber of fine folk we are .....

The fact we've had bedroom furniture sitting by the curb outside our house this week waiting for the freecycle people to come pick it up .....

Or the fact we had to hang a carpet runner out to dry on the fence today after Barley pee'd on it. **

Hello, Escoe family? The Clampett's called .... they'd like their house back.

**And can I just tell you that after she pee'd on the carpet in the hall, she ran upstairs and pee'd on the twin mattress we had sitting on the floor, waiting for the *new* bedroom furniture to arrive .....

Apparently, the house-training is not going quite as well as we thought.

"whaaaaat? I is innocent, I tells you. Der's no proof it was me. I bet you one of those kids pee'd on de mattress. Probably de little one."

In our neighborhood, all we have to do is place something by the curb and it's gone within the hour. Furniture never makes it to garbage day before someone decides they want it. Kind of like a garage sale, but with no profit. :)
Have a great weekend!

If she's normally doing well with the house training please don't rule out that she could have an infection or something.

she is too cute though

She's gorgeous! Is she crate trained? We've crate trained all of our Goldens, and have never had problems with house training. If you do proper crate training, you can have a dog house trained in 3 days!

You forgot her last sentence....."kin I haz doggie biscuitz now - pleez???" She's so cute.......could be worse - at least the smell of dog pee can be eradicated; the smell of cat pee is permanent (not that I would have any personal knowledge of this, of course - but you know that couch set that's burning outside in the driveway??).....I never laid eyes on it before....

Huh, all these folks who keep saying she's too sweeeeeet to do that.. MUST not have any dogs under 1 year old in their household right now! I totally believe that she is guilty as charged; just like my Blackie, who will look up as I walk into a room, catching her LAYING on a pillow and PULLING ALL THE STUFFING OUT OF THE HOLE SHE CHEWED IN IT.. and she'll carefully slink off it. And then sit as far away as she can, craning her head around and thumping her tail, while flashing those great big doggie eyes.. "Oh, it was the mailman.. he JUST went out my doggie door! Didn't you see him?" (sorry, but Blackie is a little older than Barley and therefore has a little better command of the human language..). Anyway, oh YEAH a face that cute can do some darned awful things! It HAS to be that cute, or you'd kill 'em! hang in there....
