That stupid mirror never lies for me, how did that evil queen stepmother get so lucky?

Oh, dear. It was 80-something degrees here yesterday. You *know* you've gained weight when you put on last summer's Capri pants for the first time and not only can you NOT get them fastened, but you can walk around with them completely unzipped and they do not fall down. At all.

Hmmmmm. We leave for our cruise in two months.... I see either a lot of dieting, or a lot of shopping (yes, for larger clothes, but probably NOT for a belt) in my immediate future. I think I shall go have a Milk Dud and ponder this dilemma.

Hell, I have capri pants from only about three or four months ago that were LOOSE on me then, and I put them on yesterday and they were so damn tight I had to lay down to zip them.

We are going on our vacation right after school gets out the 3rd week in June - I haven't tried my capris or shorts on yet - I am too afraid! Although I have been shopping for a new swimsuit and it has NOT been fun at all.

I'm with Emily, get on amazon and order Jillian Michaels 30 day Shred! It will kick your ass right into shape! I to just finished day 2 and I'm so damn sore I can barely move, can you say 'results' YES! I love it, its only 25 min. does'nt seem like anything while your doing it, (another words its pretty easy and short) but later on, you'll start to feel it, trust me, you can do 25 min. Go on and try it, you won't be sorry. I'm just viewing Brayden's photos, love them all, my favs are #8 and # 12, she is just beautiful, and I love your back ground! Now get to shredding girl!

I just don't know how you can say you have nothing to post about. That short little post made me laugh out loud -- because I can sooo relate. Sucks having your metabolism slow to a snails pace. I'd opt for shopping. Much more fun than dieting.

I'm glad that I'm not alone in this dilemma! It's too bad that we don't all live close together - we could form a support group - either for eating chocolate or exercising, whichever mood we happened to be in at the time!

oh just skip the candy and go for a cupcake-

Well buying new clothes would be the easy answer. But losing weight would be the feel good answer.
I had the same dilemma last year before our two week summer vacation.
The whole vacation I felt fat and wished I would have taken my losing weight efforts more seriously.
Nothing tastes as good as thin feels. I learned that in weight watchers. Clever huh?

I know the feeling.

A couple of years ago I tried the South Beach Diet and it worked great and best part was I was never hungry. That's the major reason I hate dieting. I suggest reading the book, it makes alot of sense. I read it, actually skimmed through it, and I think understanding why I needed to eat this way helped.

I think I have the same mirror and the same shrinking pants....no way all that wine could hurt right???

My husband and I are on day 2 of a new walking program. My calves are killing me, but hopefully it works.

Maybe I will have to check out this 30 day shred....I know something has to change because I REFUSE to buy any more clothes!!

Have fun shopping...and don't let that damn washer shrink your clothes any more!!!!

Ohhh...that sucks....and I can say that with sympathy cuz that was me last spring...and summer....so I registered for a 1/2 marathon and that cured the capri problem...and I remember those capris everyday when I bike up the hill and think how much they'd still be unzipped if I didn't keep riding....hey, why don't you register for Fatty's Ride to Nowhere?!

Hmmm, I had the same problem yesterday. It's a conspiracy!

Oh boy do I know that feeling!! 6 words for you:

Jillian
Michaels
30
Day
Shred
DVD

I swear you won't believe what you can accomplish in 20 minutes with Jillian kicking your ass. You will love her and you will hate her!

I'm totally on the same page. Ugh. If it weren't for all the baking, I'd be dandy. And maybe if doing laundry was cardio exercise. :)
