We, however, did one additional Spring Break "thing" that was sort of fun and out of the ordinary for us.

My first thought is a new dog. But could you wait this long to show us a picture and not even mention it? The cat has been in the house a few months so that isn't it. The carpet looks new, but you have not lived there that long. So, basically I don't know unless you added another animal.

I've spent my spring break spoiling my parents' dog. I don't think she'll know what to do come Monday afternoon when I leave. :(

Barley is amazingly gorgeous!
Apparently I'm an idiot because it's taken me more than 1.7 seconds to figure it out. More like 1.7 days. At first I didn't think that photo was Barley because I was mostly remembering the Baby Barley pictures. But I know it's Barley because of the identifying marks beneath his nose (the black fur above his lips) and the tags are the same as in other photos (as you can guess, I *love* the find-the-differences-in-these-photos game in the magazine).
So long story short, I dunno. So I'll join in with the others and say.......another dog? Another cat?
Oh, duh.....I just read "cakeburnette's" posts and followed the post categories and now it makes sense.
Okay....so I'm a little bit slow this weekend.
Can't wait to see pictures!!!

Okay...my guess...and I have 2 cats and 2 dogs so only partially educated...
One hint? How much was the vet bill for the bite (abcess?) on either of them?!!

I come here completely embarrassed because I just realized after posting my comment that all dogs of that breed have the black fur marks between their lips and nose, don't they? Wow. I really am clueless.

My guess is that they both got fixed...maybe? I figure Barley must be about at the right age for that, and I'm not sure if Blackie was already fixed or not. That's the first thing that popped into my head anyway.
