OK, as you probably noticed (or not) I changed the layout/background on this blog a few weeks ago. To be honest, I can't even remember why I did it .... I know there was a reason ... something to do with Blogger .... holy cow, I'm pre-senile-dementia.
Anyway, who cares why? Not me.
My quick question is this: when I selected the new layout, I chose a green-ish color template. Not quite olive-y, but one which I found not-terribly-jarring to the eyes, and thankfully *didn't* look like a graphics program had thrown up on my screen. (Much like Kendrie's little boyfriend threw up in my car on the way home from the amusement park yesterday ... but, that's another story for another day.)
But when I brought up Not Quite on my laptop yesterday, the template was as wedgewood-y blue as I've ever seen.
So let me ask you: When you bring up this site, is the background green or blue? Or otherwise?

I think it looks green. I like it.
A lovely shade of green...very pleasing to the eye.
Green. Very nice
A pale shade of green. The comment screen is institution peach. :)

very strange (i mean the fact that everyone else sees green & i see blue-NOT your new color scheme. whatever color it is, i like it)...i see it as wedgewood blue (header) & a blue-gray (background). the comment screen is sort of mauve-y.
Perhaps it depends on your computer? Because my MacBook shows the blog page as green, and yet my work laptop shows the blog page as a dull blue.
And stranger throw-up in your car? Oh my, that's nasty! At least if it was one of YOUR kids...
It is exactly as you described, wedgewoody blue, on my computer.
light green-
Blue here. Wedgewood, just like you said. My comment screen is white and institutional grey. :)
Kristin from NC
Its green here too.. its nice actually :)

Pale green.
Like banni said...thought I was crazy...I see blue with mauvy comment page....
I'm seeing green.
Green, and it changed when you hit the "update Blogger" button, as I recall. Strange how it isn't consistent!
Two toned green....pleasant green not icky green...
sage green?
Wedgewood blue here with institution gray on the comments page, but blue is the best color by far, so that's ok. :)
Definitely Wedgewood blue.
By the way, we were out of state this past weekend and in honor of you I took my kids to Sonic while my husband attended some continuing education classes. (Our local Sonics went away.) Wow. I really *am* a groupie, aren't I???

I see blue.....:)
A very eye-appealing green.
A slate grey blue on my computer!
Wedgewood blue was the perfect description.
I see that the comments are mixed....that's weird.....I have no explanation as to why some of us are seeing blue and some of us are seeing green. Blogger must be possessed!
Mine is wedgewood blue, on my laptop at home and my computer at work. Interesting.....
mine looks wedgewood-ish bluey kind of. almost a soft grey. it's not shouting at you, it's nice.
It's totally blue over here. Well, except for the comment screen which is very pale mauve.
Becky
I see kind of a blueish gray.
Anyway, continuing to pray for Blaine. Sorry he is having such a hard time so early. That just sucks.
Blue here!
I see Green. Wonder if it has something to do with what browser and version people are using.
I see wedgewood blue (pleasing to the eye) with light mauvy comment page.
So sorry Blaines discomfort started so soon during this round of treatment. Still praying for him and your family. You amaze me with your outlook, yes it is bad but lets thank God that treament is an option.

Pale green here.
I see bluish gray - and, sorry - it looks kind of dreary and depressing - doesn't go with your witty sense of humor at all :)
I see green. It's a nice green, not garish or anything.
Blue gray for me.
A very nice shade of green.

My screen looks more blue than green.
Main blog is a very nice seafoam blue-green.
Comment screen is a not-so-attractive mauve color.
A very pretty greenish color.
It is a two toned green. I like it.
Bluish/Greenish, or maybe Greenish/Bluish. I'm NO help!
On my iMac, the homepage is two tone green - more of a light sage-y color. The comment page is beige.
Ok, I just left a comment, then logged into my lapto. On the iMac, the background was green, but on my Dell laptop, the background on the homepage is blue and on the comment page is a mauve-pink color. I could go check on the kids' desktop pc, but that means I have to go upstairs and I don't want to.
How strange...
It's blue on my screen too
Me again. It looks like most of the comments from those who specifically say they have a Mac also say the screen is green. My Dell is blue with a pink comment page. Might it be a Mac/PC issue? The two have never been able to agree, so it wouldn't be surprising if they don't agree on color, either. :-)
Can't wait (???) to hear more about the car vomit. Our son's friend did that. I ran inside for a minute only to come back out to him strapped in the seatbelt with SLIMY vomit all over the seatbelt, the child, the floor, his shoes, you name it. I asked [as kindly as I could at the time] WHY he didn't get out of the car and he said he was afraid the security alarm on the car would go off. What????

PC - blue
It's blue.
To me it's grey-blue. I just have to say that I really miss the picture bar across the top. Still trying to figure that out for myself...
It's green, and does Nicholas know?
I have the lovely blue background.
I see it as green. Pretty!
I see green. And the comment page is like a beigey/gray sort of color.
A lovely green.

The main background is sort of Wedgewood-y blue/green and the boxes are sort of aqua. I like it. It's really relaxing.

Pale green. Hugs from Fort Worth!
uhhhmmmmm, green is showing on my Dell monitor at work.......are you going color-blind, my dear??!! At any rate, green has never been my favorite color - I vote for the blue! Or, better yet - RED!!!!! I've been on a red kick for a year or so now - I actually find myself buying things simply because they're RED!!!!
Blue.
I think it is a very nice greenish color...It is easy to see and read off of, unlike some I read..whew! Looks great though....Wendy
Pale green with a slate blue header
I see the blue also.
I tried changing my template on Blogger as well and lost a lot of stuff. Very frustrating.

I am seeing that lovely shade of wedgewood-y blue. Kind of a blue/gray mix. maybe I am color blind and didn't know it. Hmmm.
Tammy in Ohio

Diane in Cincinnati
The main page is a light green and the comment page is a beige color...maybe with a little peach as mentioned above?
A very nice green
Its kind of a pale blue-grey
I have a Dell and see a pretty grayish-blue with a darker (almost navy) blue header. Probably the Wedgewood blue that others have mentioned. People may be onto something with the Mac vs. PC idea.
Blue-gray
Blue. Wedgewoody. a bit liter
Not that it matters in the scheme of things, but....mine is "old appliance" green - not a smidge of blue.... and the background is beige"ish"... However, couldn't something be said in relation to "it is the thought(s)--that would be your entry -- that count and NOT the color of the background"??? And, by the way, that was a half ass compliment as no one comes to your sight for the color commentary! Take care, Randy
Bluer than blue.....bluer than blue....
(Comment screen is lavender...weird that we're all seeing different things)
I have dark blue on the NQWIHP title bar, and then a bluey-green background colour
Main page is 2 tone green, with the comment page being beige.

Mine is blue blue blue! Maybe because that's my fav color???
I hope y'all can feel the energy being sent your way every day for you remain in my thoughts so, so much. Having had radiation myself last year (33 treatments!), I can somewhat appreciate what Blaine is enduring. If he has external sores that result from the treatment. he might want to try Silvadene creme. Initially my docs prescribed the latest, most expensive skin cream which they assured me would go a long way towards keeping my skin healthy. I was very disappointed when that turned out to untrue - that stuff did absolutely nothing. Once I reached the open, weeping wound stage and threatened to stop therapy, Silvadene creme was prescribed. Within 36 hours I could see a marked difference and within a few days, the wound was healed and remained so for the balance of my treatment time. When you consider that the creme WORKED and that a huge tub of the stuff cost less than $10, you can understand why it is my miracle drug even yet today! Sometimes older is better - Silvadene has been around for a long, long time.
Hope you all have a really good week and that Blaine will feel much better.
Libby
Green.
And off topic...my husband got me TSO tickets for my bday today!!! So excited. I have never seen them before! And I know how much you love them...I know I am in for a treat!

Pale green.
Okay, so my Mac vs. PC theory didn't pan out. Maybe the blue-eyed people see blue and the green-eyed people see green? Hmm? I'm just sayin'. But I have brown eyes so I have no clue what that means.
I'd suggest that we all meet at Sonic to discuss our theories .... but alas, we have none in this part of our state. :-(
In the meantime, I do hope Blaine is getting some relief.

Awesome color green - like the color on the walls of Restoration Hardware!
Can I say greenish blue? More green than blue.

A greeny-gray color for the sides and the headings are a sage green. A mauvy-brownish comment page.
Well, I have to agree with everyone here. It's blue. Or green. :)
Want a vomit-in-the-car story? No? Too bad! My cousin's girlfriend barfed (after excessive alcohol and mexican food consumption) "in" his car. He was driving, and was trying to find somewhere to pull over because she said she was going to be sick. She rolled down the window and yakked inside the door --- in the space where the window rolls down into the door. Can't clean that out! And what a sensory delight come summer every year :)
green
A shade of green. It is nice!

Definitely green. Soothing and calming. I love it.
It's a lovely shade of green. Matches the walls where I work. =)
