Always thinking.
I’m not sure if it’s really sad, or just a little sad, that as I was skating around the rink tonight with my kids for their school fundraiser, and realizing how vastly uncoordinated I’ve gotten in my old age, that the thought actually went through my head: “Well, at least if I fall down and break my arm it will give me something to blog about.”

Skating?! Man you are brave. My kids don't skate well yet so I usually walk around the rink and help them out. Skate, not anymore!
Atleast you can count your skating as exercise!
My kids will probably never learn to skate because I never learned to skate... despite having skaters for parents. As soon as those wheels hit my feet, my butt hit the floor. You are brave for strapping those death wheels to your feet...

Where are the pictures of this big skate???
No need to break a limb to keep us coming back to read your blog. We like you without broken bones...promise!!
Hallie :)
Oh my goodness! That is too funny.
{{{sigh}}} at least you can still skate......
I thought the same as I was jumping off the bleachers last night at the boys' baseball game.
My daughter and two of my nieces have blogs and we all talk about how we think of blogging just about everything we do. I guess it's OK as long as your real life is still more important than your blog life! I saw a t-shirt somewhere that said "I'm blogging this!" I need that t-shirt.
My sister always says that about bad situations.. I think its hillarious how involved in blogging we get! :)
Talk about courage Kristie--- I tried to teach my daughter to skate a few years back and gave up after just one go around the rink.
Kudos for you for even getting on the rink! I would be terrified. What a good mom!
When I read your post my first thought was, "If you broke your arm, how would you type?"
My second thought was, no more costume making! LOL

Better to fall and break a leg. You can't blog fast with a cast on your arm. Besides, picture the kids pushing you around in a wheel chair, (with Blackie on your lap) creating all kinds of fun stuff to blog about...or maybe one of those scooter chairs that turn on a dime.
I still love skating, and used to go with my kids all the time...Hokie Pokie anyone?
hahaha! Kristie you are too funny! And Skating? How many things can your schools cram into a single week?!?!
Oh Kristy, you have plenty to blog about. The story. Don't forget the story. It could take months.
